About Cameras Obscuras

An independent love letter to cameras that are more than electronics.

Cameras Obscuras is a collector and discovery publication devoted to vintage, rare, unusual and historically interesting photographic equipment. We build stories around real model histories, practical inspection advice, and links to original examples that may be available from independent sellers. We do not own the cameras displayed or guarantee the condition of third-party listings. Every camera page is a research dossier, not a promise of verified inventory.
